This part of the database provides access to P. berghei phenotype data from genetic screens using PlasmoGEM vectors.
The search function accepts 7-digit gene identifiers (PBANKA_XXXXXXX) and text words from gene product descriptions. Search terms on separate lines in the search field get connected with the OR operator. This allows batch searches for gene IDs or searching for multiple text terms.
Search results first appear as a table. They can be visualised in the context of individual screens and downloaded as Excel or .csv files.
From the table display, the VIEW button in front of each gene leads to a phenotype overview for that gene, from which stage-specific transcript abundances can be visualised. The gene ID links out to PlasmoDB.
To obtain phenotype data for all genes, submit an empty search field.
Genes without phenotype data are not included in the database.
